Of course the cost for the amount of light you get has been dropping all
along, but the cost per unit may not.

Also, prices alone are not enough for comparison.

For example, I have now bought three MP4 video/audio players. They all
worked wonderfully...for a while. Then they failed. I would buy other
than Chinese mfg but cannot find ANY others so the next one will be from
a Co. that claims to offer a one year warranty. I would like more than
one year of course but that is better than nothing.

There are LED lights that can be bought for a song. Chinese made. Go
figure.

Also don't forget, there IS such a thing as efficiency. If you buy a
light that is twice as efficient as a cheap one (not hard to do), but
that will therefore make the most use of the expensive solar and storage
capacity, it will in fact be 'cheaper' per amount of emitted light.

Don't count on West Et All selling you the best deal either. They sell
what they make the most $ on...IE Chinese Mfg., for the most part.

Look online, read, and analyze. -Ken
