Offtopic, but: let's stop talking about "when we get the Unison core".
Because as it is now, I don't see any work being done towards that... I
haven't even heard of Paul in many weeks now, and the Unison git repo
hasn't been touched in several months.

I don't mean this in a negative way, but it seems to me that Paul has
lost interest or doesn't have the time to work on the Unison core. I'm
just saying, we shouldn't count on it happening any time soon because I
don't see any work being done - by anybody - towards it. I think we
should rather focus on improving what we have now and trying to improve
our current codebase, maybe we can get what we have now more towards
rt-safety...
