a/k/a "2001: The Cliff Notes Version" :)

I liked it, but couldn't help thinking it was just a cheaply annotated
review of the (to me) much more interesting & pretty 2001....

Chris Turner, possibly the single most annoying person alive IMHO :)

I loved that movie except for the bits with him in it. Avoided "Rush
Hour" for exactly the same reason...

The Godfather series is the single most overrated pile of trash of which I
am aware. Apocalypse Now, which I hadn't seen before a week or two ago,
was pretty good but otherwise I seriously question the legitimacy of
Francis Ford Coppola's reputation as a great director.

"North by Northwest" is an excellent one that hasn't been mentioned yet.
"Birth of a Nation" is interesting in a film school way, but the KKK stuff
is disturbing & questionable.
