yes but according to http://www.rom-o-matic.org/
5.2.2 obliges me to pass in LTSP v4 vith a kernel tagged with 
mknbi-1.2-10

These Etherboot versions *require* that Linux kernels be tagged with
mknbi-1.2-10 or later or they will not work!!

and i am running LTSP v3 with ltsp_kernel-3.0.10-0
which is tagged with another version of mknbi which dont work (i tried)

i have not yet upgraded in ltsp v4

so maybe i am forced to upgrade
