Hello, I cannot find any way of specifying the default session that ldm will start upon login: Users **always** get a unity session, unless they chose different from the menu **every single time they log in**. Neither is their choice remembered next time, nor does any of the options work that a have found via google:
- User's ~/.ldm **is not honored** (see Launchpad bug #842254) - Setting "LDM_SESSION" in lts.conf (as suggested in bug #770323) **is not honored** - Setting "LDM_GLOBAL_DMRC=/etc/ltsp/ldm-global-dmrc" in lts.conf and creating this file (as suggested here: http://rudd-o.com/en/linux-and-free-software/arcana-of-etc-ltsp-ldm-global-dmrc) **is not honored** I have filed a bug on Launchpad (#842261), but perhaps there is some secret way of doing it that I have not discovered? Thank you, help is much appreciated, Regards, RĂ¼diger -- StR Dr. RĂ¼diger Kupper Kepler-Gymnasium Freudenstadt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer -- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE!
