The supposed beauty of democracy is everyone has a voice. The abuse of democracy is ones voice can land one in trouble.
This is balanced out by only a few voicing their views less they be accused of having hidden agendas. So really democracy is an Ass. Ask Gordon Brown about it. My thick skin / head says that all should be allowed to freely voice their opinion on this issue without making it personal. I do believe as an industry we have matured enough to look at what is best for all and have a rational discussion. Let's have this discussion since UCC are putting on the table. If they are misguided let's offer them the right advise and point them in the right discussion. We need to engage in dialogue with current facts the whole thing changes so fast that old historical facts might not be relevant today. Then again they might still be. I'm on the fence but most of you on this list know my historical position.
