Markus, Actually very many people including myself use POP3. Trying doing an IMAP synchronization is 20K emails in your mailbox and one of the links in Uganda (I just divorced my ISP of 10 years because of performance).
IN my case, I have to keep a copy of each email that is sent to a client, and I have been doing so since 2006, so I have ended up with a ~1GB Outlook PST per year. POP3 has its issues, but it gets the work done Stephen -----Original Message----- From: Markus A. It works. IMAP has more features and am quite sure it is supported by your mail user agent, so why not just use it? Oh wait perhaps Yahoo doesn't provide free IMAP service? That is the only reason I could think of why you would be popping instead of imapping. ;) Regards, -- Markus On Oct 27, 2010, at 4:44 PM, Kizito Thomas wrote: > I do and it serves me the purpose!
