Hi Ed, I don't know what numbers those are. I get all my music from the extraordinary resources the Internet provides, and these came from something called the Internet lute society (I think). Are there any more pieces of a similar standard if difficulty you could recommend? I looked through what they have on offer, and much of it is still too difficult for me (I've only been playing the lute for about 10 months, with interruptions for getting books finished, etc.). You're certainly right about the quality of FdM's music, he is a splendid composer, reminds me in some ways of Bach in his polyphonic inventiveness. Cheers
