I think, we can use lyx itself for it.
This is what I have done, (and is now working)
1. Define new html format, say HTML2 (extension html)
Check: documentformat
Viewer: firefox
2.) define new converter form lyx1.5.X to HTML2 with
command: elyxer --quiet $$i $$o
options: originaldir
