I've actually moved the "what is lyx" section of the Tutorial and put it
in Intro, with the idea that the Intro should introduce LyX, and then
Tutorial and User Guide should pretty much jump right in to use it.

Are they printed elsewhere? I thought everything referred back to the
Intro for our font conventions ...

It's already gone ...

I hope to have my first attempt up today or tomorrow if I can break loose
a little time. The question is: should I commit directly to CVS or put it
somewhere else for people to peruse first. Does ftp.lyx.org have world
writeable incoming directory?
