I want to do exactly this but I am not sure how. Is it possible to have a graph-description in the dot format embedded within a LyX document and use a converter like dot2tex (http://www.fauskes.net/code/dot2tex/) to get TeX? If embedding is not possible I guess I would have to manually convert my dot file to TeX and then include it within my LyX doc...
