Hi Travis This is actually quite outdated now, but we did download Bwana as Esther also mentioned it in her post. I will get it installed shortly but the specific part of this particular man page which gives me the info I need is horribly difficult to understand.

However, in a pinch, it does work. Simply type: man command>outputfile and the man page for the command will be placed in the outputfile. As I said, it's not pretty most of the time, but it does work. Esther's suggestion of dumping it to preview would work better, since it would know how to handle the bold/overstrike/what have you, and would produce a much cleaner output, which you could then copy and paste into text edit if you really wanted a plain text version. hth. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find a monthly formatted archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at the following URL: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free!
