What! the Heck? Bizarre!
Totally, bizarre! Have you tried another keyboard just to see if maybe you
got yourself a sticky spacebar? Yeah, I know, it's not likely, I agree, and
yeah, I'm sure knowing you, you probably already thought to try that, but
hey, it's a suggestion, none the less.
Chris.

Subject: Really odd Issue With Mac And Spacebar
Hello all
I’m currently experiencing a really odd issue with my Mac. No matter what I
try, I’m unable to use my space bar without using a modifier key such as the
shift key when pressing space. Does anybody happen to have any suggestions
as to why this might be?
Now and then, if I forget to use the modifier key, kind of system window
which Lynne says looks like the window that you sometimes get if you
right-click on an object or similar, using the physical trackpad or a mouse.
If anybody can help me resolve this, i’d be most grateful as it’s driving me
absolutely bananas.
Kind regards
