Sure you could buy CD's from ebay or probably find them for free for that matter, but that material requires a license to use or possess, just like any other software. Some people don't mind using pirated software, just like some people don't mind stealing cars. Buying copies from ebay seems just like buying a stereo from the trunk of some guys car behind 7-11. To me stealing is stealing, but if you can rationalize it in your own mind fill your boot, but I wouldn't advertise it on a public mailing list.
