I'm not sure I fully understand the question. That is, it seems to me that most if not all Mac printers being sold today use USB as the physical connection to the computer. So I would understand if you were asking whether any printer manufacturers still make a Mac compatible inkjet printer for Macs that are running OS 9 but are not equipped with USB ports, i.e. are equipped only with the AppleTalk or serial ports that preceded the USB ports.

But, assuming that you have a Mac running OS 9 that has USB ports, I would expect that there would be lots of printers available.

Also, if you have the opposite problem of trying to use an existing older printer that perhaps has AppleTalk ports with a newer Macintosh which has USB and Ethernet ports, I have had a lot of success using AppleTalk to Ethernet adapters to connect the printer to a LAN port of a Router that supports AppleTalk, such as just about any Linksys Router.

It may be that a new USB inkjet printer purchased today MIGHT not come with printer driver software for OS 9. I have found that most new USB inkjet printers that I have tried lately do not require any special printer drivers for OS X - the system just seems to sense that the printer is there and often identifies it properly and prints to it without any added effort on my part, but for an OS 9 system I can imagine that one might need to access the printer manufacturer's web site and download appropriate driver software. This is something I would think one could check out before actually buying a printer.

Good Luck!
