Not long ago I had to find a cheap printer for my mother who is using
OS 9 on an old iMac 233.
I found a Lexmark quite cheaply (at BestBuy, in Canada). Offhand I do
not remember the model number but Lexmark appears to support OS 9 on
several of their USB inkjet printers, particularly the Z6xx and Z7xx
ranges. (I think I bought a Z605.)
If you go to their "OS Compatibility List" page, however, they don't
show OS 9 at all, whihc is misleading. Check the particular models.
My mother has had no trouble with the printer, except that
occasionally she has to select the Print command a couple of times
before it works. (I haven't been able to figure that out.)
Hope this helps,
Simon horn
