There's something on the US website where it says that users who don't
have a DVD drive can send their DVD in and get a set of CDs, for which
they've got to pay the media cost.

Does that mean you officially need a DVD drive to run Tiger? My G3
iBook isn't
yet 2 years old, and only has a CD drive. It's no problem for me, as
I have an
external DVD drive anyway, but it's going to be annoying for a lot of
people!
