A standard ribbon cable will fit. Its fiddly, but it does stretch. The only
issue I ever had was finding one long enough to accomodate two drives in the
pivoting drive bay. My G3 Desktop has a SCSI ZIP drive and so making all the
cables meet was actually nigh on impossible. I would have to drop the
floppy - which actually isn't a bad idea come to think of it!.

Alternatively, the PC modding crowd tend to use IDE cables now which are
straight wites with IDE connectors on each end. They are about £10 from
Maplin and cone in various colours. If the plug fits through the hole, I
expect you'll have few issues from there on.
