Hi,

Please review
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/aqua.html
It is not currently linked from
http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/index.html
When we are ready, the aqua link will be change to the above page.

I also need some new text for the FAQ.

I have tried to take on the comments below, and in the other mails too.

OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger with the AQUA interface

This is a alpha test version so that developers and users can find out
what works and what not, and make comments on how to improve it.

WHAT DOES NOT WORK IN THIS VERSION:
-You can not print
-Starting OpenOffice from a shared folder does not work
-You can not copy and paste parts of a document
-OpenOffice will crash after quitting it

+1

...though, not to be a stickler on grammar, but I think 'may' instead of 'will' would be more appropriate. 'Will' implies that the crashing and destroying of data is guaranteed to happen, whereas 'may' implies that there is a chance this will happen.

Perhaps:

WARNING: THIS SOFTWARE MAY CRASH AND DESTROY YOUR DATA.
DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE FOR REAL WORK.

People very rarely read readmes

Unfortunately, I believe this is very true. As a Mac user, I'm more likely to read a README file in the dmg than I am to read through an agreement in an installer (though that may be due to my Linux heritage). I suggest either adding an agreement to the dmg when mounting, although may be just as unlikely to be read by users, or a README file (preferably highlighted in red or some other vibrant color). It would also be good to have the warning posted in large text, bold, etc on the download page if at all possible.
