You're right for home users but think about companies.
At work, you are supposed use the company software, aren't you ?
I remember that this not so important bug was one of the first once
reported
to me back with 680 becoming 2.0 for Mac OS X and that this would
be a reason for them to use Neo, because Neo can do this.
Is the bug reported somewhere ? AFAIK, Oliver *seriously* fixed AFP
bug. It's some time ago, but I still remember we fixed that on
demand : in the administration using OpenOffice.org ( 450 machines),
people use remote dirs, and it works correctly ( sometimes, not
perfecly, though)
So not the average end-user is the one who cries the loudest more
often it's the minority amongst the minority.
I believe you :-)
This is not the majority of the Mac users, doing that. But the
majority will try Copy paste ( BTW, Drag and drop is missing in
the list .. )
Maybe you're right, maybe it's Johann, maybe it's neither of those
two issues. We'll see.
I didn't say this is not important.
My point is : all points are important, but Copy Paste, Drag and drop
should be considered before.
Regards,
Eric
