You know what's funny? There's a supermarket not far from me -- not even one of the biggie chains -- and last spring they brought two spanking new HPs to keep track of their fruits and nuts and their gas station side. A blamed corner supermarket. Now, unless someone's been pulling a whopper of a sly one on us, I THINK Sun's a lot larger than a corner supermarket which can buy HPs to keep track of fruits and nuts. Yet Sun (supposedly) can't even "afford" to provide/donate to its PPC porters a creaky eBay set of PPC Macs so they can crow about having a PPC Mac port to the world too. Makes one wonder about Sun's "commitment" to the Mac! (Just how much does Sun spend on its coffee budget anyway???)
Not depreciating anyone elses' work -- truly all you OOo engineers get five stars -- but as the lone wolf performing a unique task no one else is, Nakata, in my book you deserve my gold medal of appreciation (and a HELLVA lot more from Sun), and if I could swing it I'd throw you a fresh new PPC Mac myself! Thanks for your unsung commitment!
