First, I guess you are talking about Sun Germany engineers, aren't you ?
Then, if this can help you, Sun Germany engineers were so kind to
propose the build to HELP the Mac porting project.
Just do what they can, with the tools they have. Nothing else. And
this is the occasion for me to say them a big thank you ! (Thanks
Heiner ! )
But people, as kind as they could be, cannot do everything, and blame
them here is non sense.
Second point: here it is not question to give up with PowerPC, and
afaik, Maho is not the only one to contribute. Maho does only the
builds.
*The problem is* : find people fixing build/runtime issues, mainly
for Tiger on PowerPC and why not, for Panther too.
AFAIK, there is no problem to find PowerPC builders (some other
people can help), like Christian Lohmaier, Eric Hoch ..etc
The Community ( hmm ... ) must take over the PowerPC part, not Sun.
