"Thank you!" to everyone for the advice. I have had some luck with the scanner.... managing to get one picture scanned. I'm still having problems, though. I did get ScanGear opened and operating, but only for a moment. I exited ScanGear. Later, I could not get it opened again. Searching for the program only led me to ScanGear installers. I installed it several times.... I am not sure exactly how the system operates, but I'm guessing I have many copies of ScanGear on my hard disk/drive.
I may have purchased the scanner too quickly without being familier with Mac (or any computer, for that matter) first. I just wish the scanner worked as easy as the webcam or digital camera that I purchased. The scanner, with its multiple programs, and running in a separate operating system is difficult. I'll admit--- it confuses me!!! LOL Please know that at my workplace, while I had a PC, it is loans that I must know... I am simply a button pusher on that PC and nothing more. I play drums in my spare time and the first time a computer ever rested in my home was two months ago. I'm determined to work this scanner like a Rubik's Cube?!!! Hmmmm... I don't think ever solved all sides of that cube... -Troy _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
