That's an excellent point, and one which could very well be the
cause of all the compatibility problems. I hadn't realized that
with my mac-extended startup partition, filenames were actually
case-insenstive until you said so. I assumed since it was unix....

But more importantly, it's a good reminder for us perl
programmers to retain case-sensitive paths in our scripts in
order to insure compatibility. This is no problem for those used
to unix, but it may be a problem for those used to OS9....?
