Well, you could certainly keep AIFF or Wav files, and they’d be a lot easier to edit, but no, I was thinking of compressed lossless encoders like FLAC and ALAC. ALAC is Apple’s codec and is used by AirPlay and supported by iTunes. FLAC is an open format supported by most everybody else.
