I’ve had mixed support from Apple but consistently good responses from accessibility. I also had similar experiences in fact I think I may have gotten a blind support engineer at one point. I had folks on the regular support line generally not know as much as I do when it comes to the products but Accessibility support has always been good. They have also been quick to answer my questions when new products come out like how to start VO on the new model with fingerprint censor etc.
I won’t bash accessibility help either, so far so good.
