I use this table mostly for clean-up and address book additions. First, I'll sort by the date column and remove anything older then a year and possibly write to folks I haven't talked to recently.
Secondly, I will sort by the in address book field, and then go through and add Address book entries to people I want to have in my address book that are not there. The recent address also effects two functions of Mac Mail 1. Any address in there by default is will never be marked as SPAM. 2. The auto-fill uses this table to help guess what address you mean when typing in the recipients address of a new message. Jon function Jonathan C.
