Mailman /should/ be able to parse RFC 3464 DSNs accurately, at the very least to tell whether the notification indicates a permanent failure or not. If it's not working right, it's a bug. All the 'magical' bounce detection stuff in the other Mailman/Bouncers modules is a losing battle, and I don't have much motivation to keep up with the arms race.
