It's not common and I would be astonished if anyone checked as part of delivery. I have an IPv6 tunnel from Hurricane Electric, who do not do DNSSEC on their rDNS. My IPv4 addresses are from a local ISP who is hanging on by her fingernails and I am not going to bother about rDNS changes. The details of my situation are not all that typical, but the result, no DNSSEC is quite typical.
