I also strongly recommend use of Adobe Acrobat.

I concur with James Marlow, Adrian Walls and others.

A few more items to note:

  (1) Be careful as the latest version of Adobe Acrobat 4.x, limits files to
11" x 17" maximum sixe.  Previous versions allowed for larger C, D and E-size
plots.

  (2) Using 300 and 600 dpi resolution allows for excellent reproduction
quality and scale or raster file, such as scanned USGS quad maps (raster
image).  Be careful when printing from the reader as this can change the scale
if you select "Print to Fit".

  (3) Color quality from Adobe reader is, at times, better than directly from
MapInfo.
