have just sent you another maintenance renewal cheque and a few
questions, but events are moving up here and I need answers a bit quicker
than the airmail will secure.
I now have a number of cinsultants actively looking at Transcad, and and
repeated query is
1) when is 4.0 due?
and most important, Paramics is now being specified by Road
Authorities(and rapidly making great inroads in australia),
2) is Caliper going to come out with a microsimulation integrated with
transcad that can at least match it?
clearly the answerr is yes, but when and how?
I have two excellent clients, one in particular, that I would like onto
the microsimulation early schedule if possible : Akers now at PPK/Parsons
(and the principal in Sydney having done a large fraction of the Olympics
modelling)
and, for a 4.0 late beta: Elizabeth at SMEC Australia in Sydney.
Both would give excelelnt and highly informed feedback...
3) I have now had Bruno parolin come back on Trasncad, and wants to take
up the previous offer. can you please reconfirm the price we
should charge for exchanging all his old dongles [(I think it is 19 of
the pre 3.5) and he has one 1 post 3.5] plus 3.61 updates (and a manual
set) for the lot? You were talking about 5000usd.. but I need to have a
confirmation now as he has got a small budget and wants to act if he can
manage it.
4) when where is the caliper show at TRB? Im not staying in the Hitlon
(Im at the "quality' suites in Scott Circle due to the pain of the
current USD value!
I hope its on sunday evening.... Im rather heavily committed this
trb...
