Well, with the success of the redraw toolbox, I am willing to consider doing
the following as a public service:
We will change the name of redraw.rsc to utility.rsc and solicit suggestions
for additional general purpose features that should be in it. If they are
quick and easy to write, I will add them to utility.rsc and post it to the
list, thus everyone gets the new features at the same time. If it takes too
much time then someone will have to pay, although that is not my purpose
here. Redraw.rsc took me about 3 minutes to write and a couple of minutes
to test, so simple features probably won't be a problem.
This approach will give people immediate solutions and serve as a wish list
for Caliper for eventual incorporation into Maptitude.
This strategy will be better than posting to the repository because it will
change often and it is much quicker for me to just post the code in an
email.
Note that a toolbox can contain any of the items you see in the Maptitude
dialog boxes you get from the menus, including
Push Buttons, Checkboxes, Edit Items (text, numbers data entry), Scroll
lists, Popdown Menus, Spinners, Radio Lists,
Text Items (labels), Samples and Sample Buttons, Frames (boxes to group
items), and Tab Lists.
I'll await your suggestions but make no promises as to response time as I am
flat out with client DK work.
