Larry: thanks again for your redraw button. (I got it working!) May I
upload it to directionsmag.com?

>From this experience, I've also formulated below some...

Suggestions for improving the add-ins box

1. When you select an Add-in and choose Setup, the selected add-in should
also be selected in the "Setup Add-ins" box. It's not intuitive to have to
select it twice.

2. The list of Add-ins should show more than 3 1/2 items., and should be
expandable.

3. The label "UI database" should be renamed "path\filename", or something
that's more clear. How's a person supposed to know what whether to include
the file extension, the first backslash, etc. Moreover, how will an
ordinary person know what a "UI database" is? It seems poor terminology to
me, since it's also a "resource file."

4. The box should have a browse button!

5. Upon selecting a file, the list of possible macros or dialog boxes
should pop up.

6. "Add-ins" and GISDK should be in the manual index. At a minimum, the
documentation should indicate that these things are case sensitive, and
thatyou don't need the rsc extension.

7. I don't know what "interfaces" is for.

Likewise the GISDK toolbox item might have a better label than "compile to
UI" And a help button should appear in all these dialog boxes to give the
new or rusty user a clue.

Phew. I hope this helps!
