Do you not have the GISDK????
You cannot use a .rsc file as is. It must be compiled with the GISDK.
The Tools-Addins-Setup only references compiled resources. You take the
redraw.rsc and compile it with the Developers Toolkit which is added to your
Tools-Addins when you install the GISDK. You then use the third button to
compile .rsc files to 7 files with extensions of .1 to .6 and .dbd (eg.,
redraw.1, etc.) The third line of the Addins setup then is the path to the
compiled .dbd file. (Note this .dbd has nothing to do with a standard
geographic file; the choice of the extension of .dbd was unfortunate.)
If you don't have the DK then someone will have to compile it for you. I
generally don't send compiled versions when I send people code because they
usually have the Dk and because there are too many versions of Maptitude out
there and you generally need to compile to the version you are running.
If you don't have the Dk let me know and I will post the compiled redraw,
but it is really handy to have the DK because you can very quickly do little
programs that assist in various tasks.
Also, as this forum grows and many of us share more and more DK code it will
be much easier if everyone has their own copy of the DK.
