Thanx for the code...very clever. I asked Caliper about how to get edges
and they revealed an undocumented macro:
array GetEdges(int id)
; returns an array of arrays, each with the coordindates
defining
; the area edge
; The current layer must be an area layer
However, it returns edges in a broken up kind of way, so your method is much
easier.
By the way, you may have noticed Reinaldo Machado
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) on the list. He is in Sao Paulo, owns IGASA
Geoprossemiento with his wife) and he has hired me to do a number of DK
projects for him in the past. I even visited him in Sao Paulo two years
ago. He is now Brazilian but is from Cuba. If you do contract DK work he
may find it easier to work with you in Spanish (although his English is
pretty good and is better than my Spanish which I can get along in
verbally).
If you do contract work and you do contact him mention that I suggest it, so
that between the two of us we can serve his needs. I am always very busy
with client work and can't always deliver as fast as he needs it.
