State governments are beginning to put out 2000 census boundaries in shp
file format. My state has http://www.ofm.wa.gov/geographic/index.htm I just
imported it into Maptitude with no problem. No attributes yet, but the
boundaries are there. There is likely some state agency in your state that
has done it. It has to be very soon due to redistricting requirements.

What census data will Caliper release with the new version of Maptitude? and
when will the new version appear?

very shortly i will have a desperate need for 2000 census tract boundaries.
maptitude can import data from the tiger/line 2000 just fine, but the 2000
geographies aren't in the drop down....

any ideas?

p.s. my preference would be to buy a CD from caliper with the data already
processed.
