Ooops, I have to take my answer back! There was indeed a bug in NT
4 that severely limited the length of the string in the file open
dialog. I immediately assumed this was the problem that you were
running into. But neither the service pack nor Windows 2000 is
sufficient to fix this problem of selecting around 3100 files in
the file open dialog.
Our local gurus have figured out a workaround in our data building
process, but it hasn't made it into a Maptitude release yet. A
solution for a DK programmer might be to call ImportTiger()
directly on all files in a directory.
The bottom line is that we don't have an immediate simple solution
for you, but I'll pass this on to tech support and we'll see what
we come up with.
