I am not sure if you are a long-time reader of Counterpunch, but 
Cockburn has an orientation to the Tea Party, libertarians and the 
old-line conservative movement that gets its inspiration from Robert 
Taft "American First" type isolationism.

I think that MSNBC is pretty awful but why go with the Rand Pauls of the 
world?
