You would think that "liberals" would have a more timely bones to pick with Rand Paul than the 1964 Civil Rights Act? And yet, what have been the real controversies in which the liberals have since confronted the conservatives? It's sort of an interesting and unconscious confession on their part as to how utterly useless they have been as any kind of agencies of social change over the last 46 years.
