The celebration of the ten hours law is valid. Nonetheless, the quote has 
nothing to support a claim that Marx contrasted that victory with the defeats 
of 1948.

And are we to forget what Marx drew from 1848 in the Communist Manifesto , 
which the bourgeoisie that accepted the Ten Hours Bill never ceased to denounce 
for its revolutionary message?
