The ever elastic man now redefines "revolutionary conditions" to times when
anyone who seeks to overthrow a repressive state is forced to operate
underground "at the risk of their lives, jobs, prison, and exile" – which would
be whether revolution looms or not.

That would apply to the U.S. during World War One and in the anti-communist
crackdown of the late 1940s and its continuation into the McCarthy era. And it
may soon apply again. Of course, none of these times were revolutionary
conditions.

Today, people who simply speak out about the Gaza genocide do so at the risk of
their job.

—Marv's slippery sliding of words is not only evasive. He vents at those of us
who agitate, educate, and organize now for socialist revolution (but not
"revolution now!") by mis-branding us as boasting of our revolutionary
credentials.
