I don't think so. As far as I know, any 604 should work fine as well as 603e and sometimes even 601 cpu's (although, last I heard, you can install nothing newer than YDL 2.0 on Nubus Macs, which, once installed, can be updated with a new kernel and newer packages). I've upgraded my processor as well in the 7300 (Sonnet card), but had no problems with the original 604e 200MHz with YDL 2.1.
