I'm not sure how the Mac version is doing, but the Linux version I am using (1.1.2) is solidly supported in the spelling and thesaurus department, although lacking in a grammar checker. I have to say it is a long time since I had the patience to put up with MS Office - it is a package I have always had to fight to get things the way I want them - so I can't make any comment on the grammar checker as I've never used it (or any other I don't think). My only slight niggle is that if I set the default spell check language to English UK I loose the thesaurus as this doesn't appear to have a UK version, just the English US - but I'm not going into that debate ;-) (and please nobody else be tempted, it's not worth it!). -- Paul Tansom | Aptanet Ltd. | http://www.aptanet.com/ -- MaX-list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> MaX-list info: <http://lowendmac.com/linux/max.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/max-list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
