I'm not sure how the Mac version is doing, but the Linux version I am
using (1.1.2) is solidly supported in the spelling and thesaurus
department, although lacking in a grammar checker. I have to say it is a
long time since I had the patience to put up with MS Office - it is a
package I have always had to fight to get things the way I want them -
so I can't make any comment on the grammar checker as I've never used it
(or any other I don't think). My only slight niggle is that if I set the
default spell check language to English UK I loose the thesaurus as this
doesn't appear to have a UK version, just the English US - but I'm not
going into that debate ;-) (and please nobody else be tempted, it's not
worth it!).
