I don't think he's prefering a Linux distro over a BSD, its very much a personal preference AND choosing the right tool for the job. I use myself as an example. I greatly prefer OpenBSD. It was the first open source unix I used, and, consequently, its the OS I know the most about and feel the most comfortable with. In a case where it meets my needs, it is my first choice. My firewall? OpenBSD. My mailserver? OpenBSD. However, I setup a samba server that had Active Directory authentication as a requirement. As Open and Net(?) don't support PAM, that eliminated them. That left Linux. -Matt __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
