Hi All,

To paraphrase one from the V lists, "This may be a daft question,
but, why all the fuss about being able to delete a message sent through
a newgroup?" I ask the question on the basis that, when you are writing,
either an initial posting or continuing a thread, you are using some
sort of editor on your computer. Therefore, if you are not pleased by
what you, yourself, wrote, all you have to do is to NOT SEND it -- Do
not click the post/send button. This is no different than when we cor-
respond through this list -- if I did not want anyone to read this, I
would not have AEMail to send this.

OT other H, I have made a few BIG blunders in my postings/threads,
either by stating something erroneously or not sending something or
accidentally sending something that looked as though it was from me but
was, actually, from someone else. I wish I could have erased those
messages. Instead, I sent an apology message which stated what I had
truly intended to write, in the first place.

Now, maybe I am not understanding what is being discussed. If so,
forgive my intrusion. This has been my HO.

                                         Julian.
