Seems to me like Sascha is looking for a Cancel Message facility,
similar to what tin as a newsreader can do. From the (dim) recesses
of memory if I hit ^D while pointing at one of my own messages in a
message listing then the program would automatically generate a cancel
message which, when sent out, would result in the removal of my
message from news-servers all over the world.

Yep, and it's a feature that I'd like to see in future versions of
MD-II, as well as the ability to *pre-filter killfile* email before
actually downloading the stuff. There's a whole bunch of spammers out
there that I'd love to kill off before they make it to my hard-drive.
