I have no trouble going from a URL in a plain text mesage in YAM or
Microdot to the site addessed in the URL by simply clicking on it.
html is definitely not needed for that. It's not needed for anything
relating to email.

Email should be for the dissemination of information, not for
displaying pretty pics of flashing hearts and such crud. Leave that
stuff to www where it's easy to avoid. Once html is accepted as
legitimate for email it will begin to infect Usenet. Currently anyone
posting html there is jumped on, and I hope it stays that way.
