Still It seemed to have sparked off some lively discussion. It does seem to me
that simply introducing HTML on the Amiga is not quite so straight forward and
not everybody thinks its a good idea. I was thinking of it more from the view
point of reading mail rather than writing. As many of my PC friends haven't got
a clue how to use their PC's (although they think they have) and they don't know
what HTML is or how to switch it off. So I always get all this junk with my
EMails from them. They've not even set font types or anything. So I just wanted
an easier way of displaying these mails without having to start another prog.
However I do think that it's best keeping the majority of EMail as plain text
and I don't imagine that that will change mainly because of the size of HTML and
the fact that more devices are now able to receive EMail such as WAP EMail TV's
Phones etc. I think these devices will get the internet more simplified again.
Regards
