| I think line in impedance is around 600 ohms. THat isn't very high.
"High" is a relative term. The impedance of Koss PortPro line is 60 ohms.
Grado SR-60 headphones have an impedance of 32 ohms. Sennheiser HD600
headphones have an impedance of around 300 ohms (and require an amp
anyway). 600 ohms is very high compared to headphone impedance, and
easilly measureable.
