Hi guys a friend (and fellow dat freak) had a question that I couldn't answer and
thought that someone on the list could help out
What would have to be done to fit a L16, L18 or L20 to a 1200.
Obviously the engine cross member would have to be modified, but who would
do this and how. I assume that the drive train tunnel would be large enough
to fit a L series gear box, but the tail shaft would have to be modified.
Also to keep the rego people happy there would have to be larger brakes and a brake
booster, would a 200B brakes fit for example.
Thankyou in advance for any info. And no I haven't bought a 1200, but am
thinking of possible options for turning an ugly 200B into parts for
something more appealing and fast.
